Photography has always been the way I make sense of the world. For most of my life, I have felt most at home with a camera in hand. My first introduction to the medium came in a high school darkroom class, where the slow, methodical process of capturing and developing images immediately spoke to my soul.

I had always been drawn to the arts, performance, theater, and choir, but once I discovered photography, everything else quietly fell away. In the fall of 2001, I began my university studies as a photography major, and the camera has remained my companion ever since.

Through portraits, documentary work, and personal projects, I have used photography to explore the deeper layers of the human experience, including my own. After more than two decades devoted to this craft, I continue to photograph because I cannot not do it.

Now I step more fully into my artistic voice, ready to share with you how I see, what I see, and what I feel called to say through these images.
