rabbitstick
2007
Rabbitstick is an annual gathering just outside of Rexburg, Idaho, where people come together to practice and preserve traditional ancestral living skills. While attending BYU-Idaho, I attended one afternoon simply out of curiosity, having never been before. The people there immediately fascinated me. I had a medium format film camera with me and began making portraits. Portraiture has always been one of the most powerful ways I see with my camera, and these individuals carried a strength and presence that translated beautifully to film. These portraits remain some of my favorites to this day.
